The founders of this lodge believed it would be fitting to name the lodge after Massimo d'Azeglio because he was instrumental with his writings in the unification of Italy; thus the lodge would be continuing his belief in Italian unity.

The Massimo d'Azeglio Lodge was charted on October 7, 1917.

Accomplishments:

Anthony Spadea with assistance from Corinne Fasano and Marie Graziano rewrote the By-Laws of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts in 1985.

Hosted District Bocce Tournament Summer of 1994.

Lodge meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Lodge Home.

Ground breaking on April 16, 1964 by then President Felix Carlino. Completed and dedicated to the founders of the Lodge by President Constanzo Carlozzi October 11, 1966. Building designed and engineered by Past President Felix Carlino, P.E.
