The Commission was duly established by the Grand Lodge to develop, operate, and administer an insurance program for all members and their families. The Commission is comprised of five elected members, President, Secretary, Treasurer and two Commissioners. In addition the State President appoints four more Commissioners. The Commission has both an agent to discuss and write policies and an executive secretary to answer any questions. The insurance agent, Mr. Joseph Hayes, is most capable and ready to help you with your insurance needs.

The Sons of Italy in Massachusetts offers you a fraternal insurance program. It is an insurance program administered by the Commission for its members. The Commission meets regularly to review its policies and programs and strives to provide quality insurance for its members.

The Benefit Insurance Commission is very excited to introduce our new program for Long Term Insurance coverage. Over 60% of people who reach the age of 65 will need financial help for their health care needs. This is one reason it is so important to look at what Long Term Care Insurance can offer. It assists the individual to help maintain their independence; to have access to quality, skilled care; lessens the burden for their families, and helps to protect their assets.

Long Term Care is affordable for all. There are plans that can be customized to the individual, their budget and needs. The care can cover a variety of situations- from home care, to assisted living nursing home.
